Brilliant actress Taapsee Pannu recently walked the runway for fashion designer Monisha Jaising at the Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI. With a bright red gown with a dramatic plunging neckline, she looked gorgeous. The actress also donned a spectacular gold necklace that ingeniously mixed modern and traditional elements.
Once she uploaded the photoshoot on her Instagram, many of her celebrity friends praised it and supported her style, while some internet users were upset by it. Why? They were of the view that the actress shouldn’t have worn the gold necklace since it was organically etched with a Goddess Lakshmi image.
Shame on Tapsee, one individual wrote. It is very repulsive that certain religious symbols are used to symbolize you as a celebrity. A second person stated, “Aise vulgar foto me Maa Laxmi ka haar pehna huaa hai.”
Returning to her appearance, Taapsee looked stunning with her wavy hairstyle and minimal makeup.
About her professional life, she will appear in the Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba sequel to Haseen Dilruba, whose first look poster was published earlier this year. Agra is supposedly the setting for the sequel.
Moreover, Taapsee Pannu will appear in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki alongside Shah Rukh Khan and in Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan opposite Pratik Gandhi.
