One of the most eagerly anticipated movies of the year is Salaar, an action movie set throughout all of India and starring Prabhas. There has been much speculation about the narrative, release date, and cast of the movie directed by Prasanth Neel of KGF fame. One thing has now been proven. Salaar is really being released in two parts, contrary to what Neel had originally denied.

Shruthi Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Jagapathi Babu play significant parts in the Telugu movie Salaar. The mega-budget movie also features a number of additional performers from different film industries in supporting roles. Devaraj, a Kannada character actor, is one of them. This was disclosed by the actor in a recent interview with Suman TV.

When questioned about whether he would soon be seen in a Telugu movie during the interview, the actor mentioned Salaar. Devaraj responded in Telugu when the journalist pressed him for further information on his persona: “I cannot say much at this time. However, the first section won’t tell anything. In the second section, I’m more prominent. It appears that this supports the rumour that Salaar is a two-parter. Prasanth Neel previously addressed these rumours by noting that, if the movie was a two-parter, it would be revealed at the appropriate moment. He didn’t confirm or deny it, though.

Salaar is anticipated to be among the most popular movies of the year, with a whopping Rs 200 crore budget and wide release. Madhu Guruswamy, Easwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy are also featured in the movie. In addition to Telugu, it will also be released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam.

There are high expectations for Salaar’s pan-India box office performance given Prabhas’ reputation in the north and the massive box office success of Neel’s last movie, KGF Chapter 2. On September 28, Salaar is scheduled to open in theatres.
