Ghani, starring Varun Tej, will now hit theatres on April 8, the makers stated on Wednesday. The Telugu language sports drama was originally set to debut on February 25, competing with Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak.
Ghani is directed by Kiran Korrapati, a first-time director, and co-produced by Allu Bobby Company. The film also stars Saiee M Manjrekar, Jagapathi Babu, Upendra, Suniel Shetty, and Naveen Chandra. The release of Ghani has been pushed back several times due of the COVID-19 epidemic.
“We are amazed by the love you are showering on Ghani,” the filmmakers stated in a statement.
Your words of support inspire us to keep going on with faith in the face of adversity. We are delaying the release of Ghani due to the release of Bheemla Nayak on February 25th. Soon, a new release date will be announced. As fans, we are equally ecstatic and eager to witness Powerstar Pawan Kalyan garu’s power storm on large screens.” Varun was most recently seen in Gaddalakonda Ganesh and has a number of projects in the works, including F3: Fun and Frustration.
