Janhvi Kapoor, To Play RRR Star Jr. NTR’s Daughter?
Recently, Janhvi Kapoor made headlines when her father, the filmmaker Boney Kapoor, dismissed rumors that she had signed on to star in a Tamil film. However, if a recent rumor from an internet portal is to be believed, the actress has been hired by a top Telugu producer to play Jr. NTR’s female counterpart in his upcoming movie.
According to a recent source, Janhvi and filmmaker Kortala Siva have discussed his upcoming action film with Jr. NTR, currently titled “NTR 30.” The NTR 30 team spoke with several actresses over the past six months before settling on Janhvi Kapoor as their female lead, according to the report.
Janvhi Kapoor announced her ambition to work in South Indian cinema last year, and it appears that wish will soon come true. The Telugu film industry’s most highly anticipated movie, “NTR30,” marks Jr. NTR’s comeback to the big screen two years after RRR (2022). The action comedy, slated for release in April 2024, is one of the most eagerly anticipated Indian movies of the year, particularly in light of RRR’s box-office triumph.
In the meantime, Janhvi has a few Hindi movies scheduled for release this year. She is paired with Rajkummar Rao in the sports drama “Mr. Aur. Mrs. Mahi” for the first one. Likewise, Varun Dhawan is in Nitish Kumar’s Bawaal.
