They finished the entire choreography in just one hour, according to PrabhuDeva, whose choreography for Hrithik Roshan’s “Lakshya” song “Main Aisa Kyun Hoon” got him his second National Film Award for Best Choreography.
In a recent interview, PrabhuDeva talked about some of his noteworthy works and reminisced, saying that Farhan Akhtar, the director of “Lakshya,” had reserved his dates a year in advance. The renowned choreographer was astounded by the director’s meticulous planning of the entire shoot. He described Hrithik as “magical” while commenting on the actor’s incredible dance skills. The composition by Shankar Mahadevan was also excellent. The music continued to grow on him as he listened to it more and more. That was ‘Main Aisa Kyun Hoon’s’ distinguishing feature. Prabhu Deva also said that Hrithik deserves complete credit since everything he did looked excellent on screen and he was extremely talented.
The talented dancer also recalled how they completed the entire choreography in a single hour. He claimed that the music was so motivating that he had a flawless mental image of it. He merely needed to carry it out in front of the camera and stop it for an hour. It’s difficult to believe, but he completed it in just one hour.
Christopher Popp, a non-Indian, was interestingly responsible for Lakshya’s cinematography, and PrabhuDeva claims that working with him was a singular experience for him.
Hrithik Roshan’s dance performance of “Main Aisa Kyun Hoon” is recognised as one of his best since he brought his own charm to the song, which was sung by Shaan.
