After only two and a half months on sale, 25,000 coins were purchased. According to VNR Naidu, Chief General Manager of Hyderabad Mint, this sets a new national record.
VNR Naidu stated, “The country began releasing commemorative coins in 1964.” on this occasion. The Center first created coins featuring Jawaharlal Nehru and then those featuring Mahatma Gandhi. However, as of right now, just 12,000 commemorative coins are known to exist.
But NTR Commemorative Coin Breaks has shattered that record. On August 28, Indian President Draupadi Murmu unveiled this currency in Delhi. We released it to the general public on 29. Twenty-five thousand commemorative coins were sold in two and a half months.
According to committee chairman T. D. Janardhan, any program launched in NTR’s honor will be completed without any difficulties. Our committee has released a special edition of NTR’s Historical Speeches, Shakapurushudu, and Legislative Assembly Speeches in honor of NTR’s centennial. A magnificent homage was given, and two programs were successfully held in Hyderabad and Vijayawada.
