Balagam movie made history: FDC Chairman Anil Kurmachalam*State Film Development Corporation Chairman Anil Kurmachalam said that Balagam created the history of cinema, which brilliantly invented the rural culture of Telangana. A congratulatory meeting was held for Balagam film team under the auspices of Telangana State Film Development Corporation at FDC office in Masabtank, Hyderabad. On this occasion, FDC Chairman Anil Kurmachalam felicitated the actors, unit members, director and producers of the film with shawls and gave mementos and thanked Hon’ble Chief Minister KCR, Minister of Cinematography Thalasani Srinivas Yadav and MD Arvind Kumar IAS who encouraged us to organize this program.

Speaking on this occasion, Anil Kurmachalam congratulated the producers Harshit Reddy and Hansita Reddy who started the Dil Raju Productions banner with the intention of introducing new people to the Telugu film industry and encouraging talented people for showing the Telangana culture, traditions and affiliations well. He said that everyone who has seen the movie Balagam remembers the events that happened in their life and director Venu has shown the culture, traditions and associations of Telangana very well.

He said Balagam movie is an example that if there is content in the movie then people will appreciate it. He said that Telangana cinema should go far ahead and will work hard to provide encouragement on behalf of the Telangana government. He said that children’s movies are well received all over the world, but the release of children’s movies in Telugu has decreased, and directors and producers should come forward to make new children’s movies with good stories. He congratulated the staff of FDC who contributed to the success of this program and said that they will work hard to provide encouragement on behalf of the Telangana government to make Telangana cinema go further. Producer Dil Raju said that he is very happy that Balagam movie has been honored by FDC on behalf of the government. Director Venu said… he is happy that his first film as a director has achieved such a success. Everyone has a role in making a small film a big success and it was possible with the cooperation of all of them. He thanked Chief Minister KCR, Ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav and FDC Chairman Anil Kurmachalam for honoring Balagam movie for the first time from Telangana FDC.
