After 20 years, Simran and Laila will appear together on screen in Arivazhagan’s horror film.

They shared screen time twice, first in Parthen Rasithen in 2000 and then in Pithamagan in 2003. They were the ideal Kollywood actresses in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In the forthcoming horror movie Sabdham, directed by Arivazhagan and starring Aadhi Pinisetty and Lakshmi Menon, Simran, and Laila will now work together.
During a break in filming, Arivazhagan tells us that the two actors will share screen time as well as have full-length roles that are important to the story of the movie. He explains that Simran and Laila have both begun filming.
He remarks, “They are both highly professional and cooperative. It was a pleasure working with them. They are single-take artists who, as actors, take in the needs of the character before we film and are focused throughout their shoots.
The film, not just the leads, but the entire cast, continues the director. This makes it a multi-star film. Beyond terror, the sound will be a key component, and it will have a deep emotional connection, according to him.
